Quizmaster at the Readers Cup Year 5& 6 Finals

Readers Cup is organised by the Qld Branch of the Children's Book Council of Australia. It is a state wide competition for young readers. Teams of four students together read a set of books, and then compete with other school or public library teams to answer quiz questions from the books. The competition was introduced in 2004 to celebrate 50 years of CBCA in Queensland. It catered for Years 6-8 as a single competition then later split into two sections of 6/7 and 8/9. As Year 7 transitions into high school in 2015 the competition changes to 5/6 and 7/8. In 2017 we are trialling a Year 9-10 competition in Wide Bay Region.
